plug into a suitable mains outlet.
∙ Set the selector switch to either the
cooling or the warming function. The
appropriate indicator light will come on.
∙ To compartmentalise the cool-box, the
partition may be inserted from above into
the 2 grooves on the inside.
∙ During periods of non-use, always switch

Hints
Cooling
To achieve optimum cooling, the cool-box
should be fi lled with pre-chilled food and/or
beverages. The food and beverages will then
be kept cool or be cooled down even further.
With warm or non-chilled food and
beverages, the cooling process will take
considerably longer.
Keeping warm
Using the keep-warm function, food and
beverages may be kept warm. Again,
warming up cold food and beverages will
take some considerable time.
12V connection:
When the 12V cigarette lighter socket is
used to power the cool-box, it should not
be left connected for more than 2 hours
with the vehicle engine switched off. This
is to prevent the vehicle battery from
over-discharging. With the engine running,
the cool-box may be left connected for an
unlimited time.
