Safety measures
Preliminary
• This equipment can be used to carry out measurements in the CAT.III 600V
environment.
• When using this clamp, the user should comply with all the safety measures
regarding:
- Protection against the electric current hazards.
- Protection of the ammeter clamp against incorrect use.
• For your own security, only use the test probes supplied with the instrument.
Before using them, check that these are in good condition.
During use
• Before carrying out any measurements, let the instrument warm up for at least 30
seconds.

protection.
• To avoid damage to the equipment, do not exceed the maximum limits of the
input values shown on the technical specifications tables.
• Check the rotary switch and make sure it is in the correct position before starting
a new measurement.
• Be extremely careful when working near bare conductors or busbars.
• Any accidental contact with the conductor may cause an electric shock.
• Be careful when working with voltages higher than 60V DC or 30V AC rms. This
type of voltage has a risk of electric shock.
• Before changing the function, disconnect the test probe from the circuit that is
being tested.
• Keep your fingers behind the protection ring when measuring.
