6 Putting into operation
6.1 Transport and installation
Risk of injury
Physical damage due to falling devices and mounting parts.
• Use an appropriate lifting tool with load securing devices for transport and installation of the iROB
• Avoid abrupt lifting and setting down.
• Do not lift the components over persons or other devices.
• Transport the components in upright position.
• Wear your personal protective equipment: Safety shoes with steel caps, protective work gloves, safety
• Send bystanders out of the danger zone.
• Please observe the weight of the individual components.
Risk of toppling
Physical damage or damage to components due to improper mounting.
• Separate the supply lines.
• Place the components on a suitable base (flat, tight, dry) that prevents them from tipping.
• Please observe the max. angle of inclination of 10°.
NOTICE
• Ensure free access to the operating components and connections.
• Install the robot welding power source maintaining a circumferential clearance of 50 cm to ensure
• Prevent dust and other foreign substances from entering the cooling air stream of the system.
• Protect the components against rain and direct solar radiation.
• Use the device only in dry, clean and well-ventilated rooms.
6.2 Mount the robot welding power source on a mounting platform (option)
