5. TUNE UP
To power up the system, connect the transformer cable to the installation power supply.
Once the ECO BASIC I has been connected, it will start producing osmotized water.
Due to hygienically reasons, the reverse osmosis membrane contains
chemical conservation products. This does not allow the use of the first water
produced, so it is very important to discard the two first water productions
completely emptying the accumulator tank twice. Open the faucet until the
pump stops (in each emptying operation).
It's very important to pay attention to the orientation of the faucet. The flow
must be pointed to the sink. Because of maintenance and security reasons,
the unit can turn on the pump automatically in order to drain partially the
tank. If the faucet doesn't point correctly at the sink, it can splash the kitchen
surface.
From this point, ECO BASIC will provide you guaranteed quality water.
