Short-term operation
The appliance is designed to process
average domestic quantities of food; it
can be operated without interruption for a
maximum of 3 minutes with the blender jug,
or up to 30 seconds with the grinding top,
after which it should be allowed to cool down
to room temperature.
Safety switch
A special safety switch in the motor housing
ensures that the appliance can only be
operated if the blender jug or grinding top is
properly locked in position.
Before removing either of these, make sure
that the rotary control is in position 0. This
also applies when fi tting the blender jug
or grinding top to the motor housing. If the
control is not in its off-position (0), the motor
will start immediately.
Multi-mixer operation
∙ Fit the blender jug to the motor housing,
with its handle to the right, in such a way
that the two triangle symbols are aligned.
∙ Put the liquid ingredients into the blender
jug. The jug has a maximum capacity of
1000 ml. To avoid possible foaming or
spilling when processing foamable or thin
liquids such as milk, do not fi ll the jug over
the 700 ml mark.
