G 1/4" threaded hole for connection
SENSOR
Danger of explosion
The unit is designed to convey flammable gas and is sealed.
Do not start the machine before connecting and activating the unit and system surveillance system.
Pressure sensor
Given the likelihood of an explosive atmosphere, the use of pressure measuring instruments is COMPULSORY in order to check that
the difference between the delivery and suction pressures respects the values given in the "SPECIFICATIONS" and on the machine's
rating plate.
The use of an alarm and stop device (non-automatic reset) that automatically shuts off the power to the machine is advisable.
Temperature sensor
A possible temperature sensor is deemed functional for the customer's measurement needs, but can in no way replace the pressure
sensor for monitoring any dangerous machine conditions.
All the sensors must be protected against possible impacts, damage and atmospheric agents
12.4 BLOWER WITHOUT ELECTRIC MOTOR
Check the compatibility of the chosen electric motor with the data given in the DIMENSIONS in the first section.
Remove the screws and coupling cover (A).
Insert the key supplied with the electric motor and fit the semi-joint with the flexible coupling on the end of the blower shaft without
securing it (B).
Remove the sticker on the end of the motor shaft. Check that the key is properly positioned in the special seat. Fit the semi-joint,
leaving 5mm of key free (C).
Tighten the grub screw to secure the semi-joint (C).
Couple the electric motor to the blower and secure the motor to the base with screws (D-E).
Mate the two semi-joints (F).
Tighten the Allen screw located on the motor shaft semi-joint and check that the flexible element is free to float (F).
