adjustable). A suitable Allan key is enclosed!
Models F30.60.xxx, VBF.60.xxx
The use of a securing bracket (Art. No. EP.ML.6323) is essential to prevent the cabinet tipping over when full to maxi-
mum and when the drawers are fully extended.
Models VBF.221.xxx
The drum cabinet is supplied on wooden transport blocks. These must be removed during installation. The spacers
may not be removed, however. First screw the enclosed brackets to the side of the cabinet. The wooden transport bloc-
ks can now be removed after lifting sideways using a fork-lift truck.
Warning: Then slowly lower the cabinet to avoid damage.
8. Closing
In the case of fire, the doors and drawers of all models (with the exception of the TRG- and G90- models) close auto-
matically. (Cabinets of model series VBF(T)129/196.xxx+ close automatically after 60 seconds).
If the contents of the cabinet are not being accessed, the operator/user must ensure that all doors and drawers are kept
closed.
Models VBFA196.xxx
The doors of these models open and close fully automatically. The integrated sensor technology opens the door/doors
automatically after personnel ID recognition. (The ID recognition is made after approximately 2 seconds).
After leaving the recognition fields, the door/doors close(s) automatically after approximately 30 seconds.
There is no danger of injury in the process of closure because the cabinet does not close by motor force.
Meaning of the LED displays:
green – cabinet is connected to the mains and is ready for operation
red – person is recognised, cabinet opens
Technical data:
Power connection 230V, 50Hz with 5m power cable including mains plug.
9. Door open arrest system with thermal release system in the event of fire
In the case of doors with automatic closure, it is possible to fix the door open by means of a door stop system. In the
case of fire, the doors close automatically due to an integrated thermal release system. (Cabinets of model series
VBF(T)129/196.xxx+ close automatically after 60 seconds, door open arrest system is standard here).
10. Locking
All cabinets can be locked using a safety cylinder lock. The models of the type series VBF(T/A)196.xxx(+), VBF.129.xxx(+),
VBFT.xxx(+) and TRG.205.xxx and G90.xxx.xxx are equipped with a replaceable profile cylinder (possible to integrate in
a master key system).
N.B.: It should generally be remembered for all models that the cabinets do not have an emergency unlocking
device, i.e. any persons locked in the cabinet cannot get out alone.
11. Interior fittings
Carrying force and catch volume of shelves and collecting sumps are provided in Annex 1 – Technical Data.
11.1 Shelves
The shelves are already fitted to the cabinet in the factory and each secured by 4 screws. These screws must first be loo-
sened before adjusting the height.
Warning: after adjusting the shelves, secure them again against tipping up with all 4 screws.
