11. Troubleshooting
11.1. "My Glide™ does not start."
Make sure the power cord is properly connected to the Glide™ device.
Make sure the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet on the wall.
11.2. "A light pulse is not emitted when I press the PULSE TRIGGER"
Make sure the Ready Indicator is blinking.
Make sure you have good contact with the skin and that the treatment surface is evenly and firmly pressed to
the skin. For your safety, the Pulse trigger will activate a pulse only if the treatment surface is firmly pressed
against the skin.
Check the Indicator Light. If it blinks slowly, the Skin Color sensor has stopped the light pulse; the skin color
window was not properly covered by the skin or your skin may be too dark for you to use Glide™. Try to
apply Glide™ again on a different part of your body.
If the Ready light is off, together with any number of blinking Energy Level light indicators, you have a system
error. If this problem persists, contact your local Glide™ Customer Service Center.
If these problems persist, contact your local Glide™ Customer Service Center.
Check if the System Warning Indicator Light is on, and all other lights are blinking. If so, unplug the device
from its power source. The device has reached its End of Life stage. Please refer to section 10 – "Glide™
Maintenance" for further instructions on how to safely dispose of the device.
Do not attempt to open or repair your Glide™ device. Only authorized Glide™ repair
centers are permitted to perform repairs.
Opening Glide™ may expose you to dangerous electrical components and to pulsed light energy, either of
which may cause bodily damage and/or eye injury.
Trying to open Glide™ may also damage the device and will void your warranty.
Please contact Glide™ Customer Service if you have a broken or damaged device in need of repair.
