Flow Meter

Caution: Prior to opening the controller or installing any electrical components, turn off all power
supplies to the controller

6.4.1 Selecting and Location

The exact location of the flow meter will depend on the specific piping arrangement. Several factors should
be considered in order to provide maximum safety and accuracy.
Safety: In order to provide prevent chemicals from being added when there is no flow to the pool, the flow
meter should be installed in the main return line after the filter.
Accuracy: in order to ensure accuracy, the flow meter should be installed in a straight run of pipe following
the minimum requirements listed in Table 10.
