6.1 How it works

The linear unit is used for linear processing and positioning. A trapezoidal threaded spindle drive
moves the slide(s) (pipe system for linear unit E) or the guidance profile (pipe system linear unit
AE) into its/their position. This motion can be effected manually with a handwheel or by an elec-
tric drive. The slides or guidance profile are secured against rotation by a driver wedge.

6.2 Designs/Guidance concept

This linear unit is available in the designs and guidance versions given here.

After receiving this linear unit, check the device for possible damage and missing components.

Notify RK Rose+Krieger GmbH of any faults found immediately.
The linear unit is delivered ready for operation, but without a control system and without acces-
sories.
