PROBlEM
•
Mower will not start.
•
Mower functions
intermittenly.
•
Mower leaves ragged
finish or motor labors.
POssiBlE CAUsE
•
Cord is not plugged in.
•
Circuit fuse is blown.
•
Circuit breaker is tripped.
•
Cord or switch is damaged.
•
Grass too long.
•
Thermal cut out activated.
•
Thermal cut out activated.
•
Height of cut too low.
•
Cutting blade is dull.
•
Underside of mower is clogged.
•
Blade is installed upside-down.
POssiBlE sOlUTiOn
•
Plug mower into a working outlet.
•
Replace circuit fuse. (If the product
repeatedly causes the circuit fuse to blow,
discontinue use immediately and have it
serviced by an authorized BLACK+DECKER
service center.
•
Reset circuit breaker. (If the product
repeatedly causes the circuit breaker trip,
discontinue use immediately and have it
serviced by an authorized BLACK+DECKER
service center.
•
Have cord or switch replaced at an
authorized BLACK+DECKER service center.
•
Increase the height of cut and move
mower to shorter grass to start.
•
Allow motor to cool and increase height
of cut.
•
Allow motor to cool and increase height
of cut.
•
Increase height of cut.
•
Replace or sharpen the blade.
•
Unplug mower. Check underneath the
mower and clear out debris as necesary.
(Always wear heavy duty gloves)
