The DVD receiver provides several methods for tuning AM/FM radio stations, such as Auto Tuning, Manual Tuning and
Preset Tuning. Follow the procedure below to tune your favorite radio stations.

1 ST indicator
Lights up when receiving a strong FM radio signal.

3 Preset number
Displays the preset number (page 35).
4 Band
Displays the band (AM or FM).
5 Frequency
Displays the frequency.
Tuning radio stations
automatically (Auto Tuning)
If the radio wave reception is strong in your area, Auto
Tuning is a quick and useful way to tune radio stations.

Press INPUT on the front panel repeatedly to
select AM or FM.
Each time you press the button, the mode changes
between "AM" and "FM".

Press MODE to select "TUNING MODE" and
then rotate MULTI JOG clockwise quickly.
The DVD receiver automatically detects radio
stations that have strong signals for your selection.

You can switch the tuning mode for FM radio stations. Press e
on the remote control to switch the tuning mode between stereo
and mono.

Because the interstation frequency spacing differs in
different areas, you may need to switch the frequency step
mode.

Follow the procedures below to set the frequency steps.
While the DVD receiver is set to the standby mode, press
and hold both SOUND and INPUT on the front panel,
then press and hold STANDBY/ON on the front panel for
4 seconds or longer.
The frequency step mode will be set to 100 kHz/10 kHz.
Tuning radio stations manually

If the radio wave reception is weak in your area, tune radio
stations manually.
