Before use

Ensure that the appliance is disconnected
from the power supply.
When using for the first time, please proceed as follows:
DR 86
Press the safety cap (1)
down and open by turning

counter-clockwise.
Fill in max. 2 l water and
screw the safety cap back
on again firmly.
DR 88
Open the tank cap (2) by
turning counter-clockwise.
Fill in max. 2 l water and

screw tank cap back on
again firmly.
DR 86 / DR 88
(3) Open the flap of the
socket cover completely
and
(4) push the connector of

the steam hose into the
4
socket.
(5) Close the socket cover
again until the locking nose
engages in the hole on the

upper side of the connector.
(6+7) Before pulling the
connector out, open the
socket cover first.
