13. MAINTENANCE

Your thermal transmitter does not require any special maintenance. It is only
necessary to remove the dust with a soft, dry cloth.
NEVER USE SOLVENTS OR ABRASIVE PRODUCTS.
It is recommended that the heater surface be cleaned when the heating sea-
son begins.

14. POSSIBLE FAULTS

1.- THE HEATER DOES NOT PRODUCE ANY HEAT.
Check that the thermal transmitter is not covered and that the air inlets are
not obstructed. The safety device will have tripped if the appliance has been
covered.
IN ORDER TO REST IT THE MAINS PLUG MUST BE REMOVED FROM
THE SOCKET FOR SOME FOUR MINUTES AND THEN PLUGGED IN
AGAIN.
2.- THE SENSOR DOES NOT DETECT.
Check that the sensor is not covered and that it is correctly located within the
room (page 37).
DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE PRESENCE SENSOR. YOU COULD
DAMAGE IT.
3.- THE HEATER DOES NOT PROVIDE SUFFICIENT HEAT.
Check that the unit installed in the room has sufficient power.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
It is not recommended that the heater be switched off during normal
operation, because the room temperature must not be allowed to drop
too much.
For this reason, divide the 24 hours of each day into Comfort hours
(the time you will spend in the room) and Economic hours (the time
you will not be in the room).
Both temperatures should be adjusted in a reasonable, for example, a
Comfort temperature of 22 ºC and an Economic temperature of 17 ºC.
We sincerely hope that the Eco-Sensor heater will satisfy all your requi-
rements.
