BATTERY PACK AND
CHARGER
CHARGER LED CHARGE-STATE INDICATOR
The battery charger is equipped with an LED
charge-state indicator that indicates the
state of charging as well as conditions that
may delay or prevent charging (Fig . 15) .
Note: Until a battery pack is inserted, no lights
will be visible .
Blinking orange light: a fault condition
exists . There are several potential
causes . See "Troubleshooting" in this
manual .
Steady orange light: the battery pack
temperature is beyond the acceptable
range (0°C/32°F to 40°C/104°F) . Allow
the battery pack to reach the
acceptable temperature range before
charging . The pack may be left on the
charger as the temperature adjusts .
Charging will begin when the proper
temperature is reached .

INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING : Always be sure that the tool
is switched off and battery is removed
before attempting to perform inspection or
maintenance on the tool . Failure to switch off
and remove the battery may result in serious
personal injury from accidental start-up .
• Turn Light off
• Remove Battery
• Unplug adapter cord (from mains and
Portable Light .
• Wipe off the housing and the plastic
components using a moist, soft cloth . Do
not use strong solvents or detergents on
the plastic housing or plastic components .
Certain household cleaners may cause
damage, and may cause a shock hazard .
