USE AND OPERATION
CAUTION : Do not direct the light beam into the eyes of people or animals .
INSTALLING
BATTERY
1 . Hold the tool and the battery firmly when
installing or removing battery . Failure to hold
the tool and the battery may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury .
2 . Always switch off the tool before installing
or removing of the battery .
3 . To remove battery, press the release button
(A), and pull out .
4 . To install battery, align rails in battery
cavity to rails on battery pack . Always insert
battery all the way until it locks in place with
a click .
If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool,
causing injury to you or someone around
you . (Fig . 2B) NOTE: Do not use force when
installing the battery . If the cartridge does
not slide in easily, it is not being inserted
correctly .
PLUG IN ADAPTER
1 . Remove the waterproof plug (A) found in the
AC Adapter socket . (Fig 3)

2 . Ensure the Portable Light is turned 'off' and
then plug the adapter plug into the socket on
the Portable Light body .
3 . If removing the adapter, the waterproof plug
(A) must be put back immediately, otherwise
dust, water etc will enter, and may become a
cause for malfunction .
TURNING THE PORTABLE LIGHT
ON OR OFF
1 . Install a charged battery or connect the
adapter . If using adapter, ensure adapter is
properly connected to a mains outlet .
2 . To turn ON, press the ON/OFF switch to either
HIGH or LOW . (Fig 4A & 4B)
3 . To turn OFF, press the ON/OFF switch to
return to the center position . (Fig 4B)
