PRODUCT SAFETY INSTRUCTION
1 . Always
charge
recommended by the manufacturer . Chargers
designed for a specific type of battery may
pose a fire hazard when used together with
other battery types .
2 . You must only insert the correct batteries
in the Portable Light . Using other batteries
may cause injuries and pose a fire hazard .
3 . When not in use, keep batteries away from
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or
other small metal objects that could bridge
the contacts . Short circuits between battery
contacts can cause burns or fires .
4 . Fluid may escape if batteries are used
inappropriately . Avoid all contact with this
fluid . In the event of accidental skin contact,
rinse the affected area thoroughly . If the fluid
enters your eyes, seek immediate medical
assistance . Escaping battery fluid can cause
skin irritation or burns .
5 . Do not operate the Portable Light in
potentially
containing flammable dust, fluids or gases
. The Portable Light can generate sparks
which may ignite dust or vapours .
6 . Avoid accidental operation . Make sure
that the Portable Light is switched off
before connecting the battery and before
picking up or carrying the Portable Light .
Accidentally pressing the switch on the
device or connecting the device to the power
supply when already switched on can lead
to accidents .
7 . Always switch off the Portable Light when
not in use .
8 . Never use electrical devices with a defective
switch . Electrical devices that can no longer
be switched on or off are dangerous and
must be repaired immediately .
9 . Remove the battery before adjusting,
cleaning and storing the device or changing
accessories . These precautionary measures
prevent accidental operation of the Portable
Light .
10 . When not in use, keep the Portable Light
out of the reach of children . Do not allow
personnel to use the device unless they
are already familiar with it or have read

12 . Do not operate the Portable Light without a
lens, or with a lens that is damaged .
13 . Use the Portable Light, accessories, etc . as
described in these instructions . Take into
consideration the working conditions and
tasks required . Using electrical devices for
applications other than those intended can
lead to dangerous situations .
14 . Keep your Portable Light away from heat
sources and fires . Do not store your Portable
Light in moist or wet ambient conditions . Do
not store in locations where temperatures
may reach or exceed 40˚C . Examples include
alcoves, motor vehicles or metal structures
during the summer .
15 . Do not expose the Portable Light to rain,
excessively damp conditions, or complete
submersion .
16 . Do not leave the Portable Light on while
unattended .
17 . The Adapter (AC Power) is designed for
indoor use .
18 . Never use an incomplete Portable Light, or
one on which an unauthorised modification
has been made . Do not switch on the
Portable Light if tool parts or guard devices
are missing or defective . Do not switch on
the Portable Light if the Adapter cord is
damaged .
19 . Always ensure the Portable Light is steady
and properly secure before use .
