Charger/Li-ion battery
Carry out a visual inspection.
Prior to connecting the product to mains power:
– Check the mains power cord for any damage.
– Inspect product for possible damage (e.g. inspect contacts of the
charging bay for bent contacts)
Plug in the mains plug at the mains power socket.
Place the Li-ion battery 21 in the charging bay of the charger and
charge it, see Fig. F.

appropriate charging bay.
Note
Before starting, ensure that the mains voltage and
mains frequency indicated on the nameplate corre-
spond with the specifications of the mains power grid.
When connecting the charger, it is recommended that a
fault-current circuit breaker of at least type F with a
tripping current of max. 30 mA be used.
Note
The charger can be used by children if 8 years or older, as
well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities or with lack of experience and knowl-
edge, if these persons are supervised or have been
instructed on how to use the device safely, and if they
understand the risks associated with the use of the
device.
Do not allow children to play with the device.
Do not allow children to clean or maintain the device without supervi-
sion.
