2 Applications
The spotlight housing is suitable for profes-
sional applications (e. g. discothèque, shop-
window) as well as for private party applica-
tions. In combination with a mirror ball the
spotlight produces disco light effects which
create a special party atmosphere.
3 Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to the directive for
electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC
and the low voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
It is necessary to observe in any case the
following items:
The unit is suitable for indoor use only.
Protect it against dripping water and
splash water, high air humidity, and heat
(admissible ambient temperature range
0 – 40 °C).
Do not set the unit into operation, or im-
mediately disconnect the mains plug from
the mains socket if:
1. damage can be seen at the unit or
mains cable,
2. a defect might have occurred after a
drop or similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit uses lethal mains voltage (230 V~).
In case of improper action a shock hazard
may occur. The unit must in any case be
repaired by authorized personnel.
A damaged mains cable must only be
replaced by the manufacturer or author-
ized personnel.

Never pull the mains cable when discon-
necting the mains plug from the socket,
always seize the plug!
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth.
Never use any chemicals or water.
If the unit is used for purposes other than
originally intended, if it is not mounted cor-
rectly or not repaired by authorized, skilled
personnel, there is no liability for possible
damage.
If the unit is to be put out of operation defi-
nitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.
Important for U.K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains
lead of this appliance may not correspond
with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and
yellow must be connected to the ter-
minal in the plug which is marked with
the letter E or by the earth symbol
coloured green or green and yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal which is mark-
ed with the letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must
be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured red.
Warning!
This appliance must be earthed.
4 Installing the Lamp
The spotlight housing is supplied without
lamp. A PAR 36 lamp of 6 V/30 W with a
socket with screw connection is required.
As matching lamp, the halogen lamp HLT-
6/30 of the range "img Stage Line" is recom-
mended.
Important! Prior to installing or removing
the lamp disconnect the mains plug in any
case! As the lamp becomes very hot during
operation, at first let it cool down after oper-
ation of the unit (cooling down time at least
5 minutes) before replacing it.
