4.10 REVERSIBILITY (reversal of the driving position)
The main feature of the machine is that the driving position can be reversed.
Just a few operations allow the tractor to work with the driver's seat, the pedals
and relative controls in the direction opposite to that of normal use. This allows
the hydraulic power lift to be used in the best possible way with good visibility
when it comes to the implements hitched.
The driving position must be reversed with the engine off and the
parking brake applied.
Comply with the following instructions to reverse the driving position:
• Turn off the engine (fig.7 in position 0)
• Apply the parking brake (N° 4 fig.1)
• Move the levers of the gearshift (N° 5 fig.1), speed ranges (N° 11 fig.1) and
reverse shuttle (N° 9 fig1) to the neutral position.
• Lower the reverse shuttle lever (N° 9 fig.1)
• Lift the clutch pedal as indicated in fig.18
• Lift the brake pedals as indicated in fig.19
• Release the seat and lift it (fig.20) using the lever N° 1 fig.20.
• Turn the platform clockwise until you reach the position shown in fig.21
• Lower the seat until it locks on pin N° 1 fig.21
• Move the pedals and reverse shuttle lever back to their original positions.
The hydraulic fluids of the power steering and braking systems are automatically
reversed thanks to an electrohydraulic valve, thus allowing the steering action to
match the way the steering wheel is turned and the braking action to match the
way the pedals are operated.
To move the driving position back to its normal setting, work through the above
instructions in reverse order, turning the platform in the anti-clockwise direction.
