fingers. Close the lid (2) until the block
and push adjustment knob (b) one time
in order to pressurize. The lid will seal
automatically and cannot be opened
during active pressurizing.
Important: Polymerisation pot and
lid can become very hot in case of
longer use at high temperatures.
Therefore contact to metal parts
is to be avoided. The lid should
only be opened and closed by
means of the isolated handle (1)!
On the right besides the time indication
display (f) an LED indication (g) shows
the active pressure polymerisation.
The manometer (a) shows the pres-
sure within the polymerisation pot and
the pre-adjusted time runs backwards
in one-minute steps towards 0.
7.4 The query of the present temperature
To ensure the right condition for polym-
erisation the active temperature can be
checked at all times. For this press the
temperatures switch (e) and keep press-
ing. During this action, but at the most
for 3 seconds the actual value is shown
in the diplay (d). The proceeding pro-
grams (heating, recooling or polymeri-
sation) will not be interrupted due to
this activity.
After the polymerisation time has run
out the overpressure will be released
automatically. Only open the lid after
complete ventilation at the handle (1)
and remove the objects from the water
bath. The temperature adjustment is
saved for future polymerisation proc-
esses.
Tip: Polymerisation can also be started,
if the final temperature has not been
reached.
By pushing the adjustment knob (b) for
approx. 3 seconds a running polymeri-
sation programme can be cancelled (see
point 9).
If pressing the temperature switch (e)
less than 3 seconds, the electronic turns
back to the initial position and show the
adjusted set temperature.
If pressing the temperature switch
longer than 3 seconds, the Polymax
unit will vary to the adjustment area
of temperature automatically (see
point 7.1).
