3.2.1.2 Antenna setup and channels search

CAUTION!
The My Dish menu settings are specific to your antenna plant. Any wrong settings may make it impossible to view
certain TV programs. It is important that you know the characteristics of your antenna plant and/or consult a professional
installer in order to correctly setup the receiver.
Modifying the Switch Type parameters, to either NONE, DiSEqC 1.0 or DiSEqC 1.2/USALS, presents three
different configuration modes.
3.2.1.2.1

Basic Mode

Single LNB/satellite antenna plants, with a direct connection between the receiver and antenna, do not use
DiSEqC or other specific communication protocols.
Antenna and satellite setup
Use the following settings for the first two parameters:

Switch type: None

Toneburst: Off
At the third parameter, press OK and the Edit parameters screen will appear:
Satellite Name: Select satellite name. Press the RED Add SAT button, select the satellite and press

LNB Type: Antenna converter. Change the LNB type using

LNB Low/High Freq: Local oscillator frequency

Satellite channels scan
To conduct a channel scan on a selected satellite:

Press the BLUE Scan button

Define the following in the Scan mode screen:
Scan Mode: scan the Transponder database (Default) or by a Blind-scan (Blind-Detail)

DiSEqC 1.0 Mode
The DiSEqC 1.0 protocol was developed for multiple converter antenna plants and allows switching between
up to four satellite sources.
Use the following settings for the first two parameters:

Switch type: DiSEqC 1.0/1.1

Toneburst: Off
Press OK for each of the four LNB1÷LNB4 items and a Edit screen will appear for each satellite:
