DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT

CONTROL PANEL FEATURES AND APPLICATIONS

CLEVER02/ -M control panels are built to form part of
an automatic shutter gate system, driven by way of a
single phase motor with permanent capacitor. The
operator must have serially connected limit switches
(for example, tubular or centre shaft operators).
Features
• Power supply:
CLEVER02: 230Vac/ 50Hz; CLEVER02M: 115Vac/ 60Hz
• Control of travel by timing
• Adjustable standby time in automatic cycle
• Opening and closing safety device cable connectors
(photocells or mechanical strips)
• Connector for plug-in receiver
• 24VAC cable connector for peripheral connection
• Cable connectors for flashing light (the flashing light
comes on during the movement of the shutter gate)
• Voltage-free relay output (RLX) configurable to work
in monostable or bistable mode
Voltage-free relay output (RLX)
The RLX relay is only operational in step-by-step
mode, and is activated using the second fixed code
receiver channel.

OPERATION MODES

Open-close mode (DIP1=OFF and DIP2=OFF)
When a fixed code transmitter is used in open-close mode, the first channel corresponds to the A.T. opening
device and the second channel corresponds to the C.T. closing device.
Opening: this starts by briefly pressing the A.T. key
command (transmitter, magnetic key, key switch, etc).
If the C.T. key command is activated during opening,
the shutter gate closes.
Opening finishes when the time programmed by
T.M. finishes
Standby: the shutter gate remains open until a C.T. key
command is received.
Step-by-step mode (DIP1=OFF, DIP2=ON) and automatic mode (JP1)
When a fixed code transmitter is used in step-by-step mode, the first channel corresponds to the A.T. key
device and the second channel activates the RLX relay.
Opening: this starts by briefly pressing the A.T. key
command (transmitter, magnetic key, key switch, etc).
If the A.T. key command is activated during opening,
the shutter gate comes to a stop. The shutter gate
closes if operated again.
Opening finishes when the time programmed by
T.M. finishes
It is necessary to install additional safety items
(photocells or strips) in order to fulfil the requirements
of Standard EN 12453.
The RLX output (cable connectors 11 and 12) can be
configured to work by pulses (monostable, as a push
button) or by interlocking (bistable, as a switch).
A-Pulse operation (JP2=MONO): the output relay
only remains active for the duration of the radio signal.
This acts as a switch.
This is used to activate remote operation signals (for
example, to trigger garage lighting systems).
B-Operation by interlocking (JP2=BI): the output
relay is locked in its current state until a new radio signal
is received, at which point it moves to the other state.
This acts as a switch.
This is used to enable and disable electronic
equipment with a load of less than 1200W (for
example, turning lights on and off, enabling and
disabling alarms).
Closing: closing begins by briefly running the C.T. key
command (transmitter, magnetic key, key switch, etc).
If, during closing, the A.T. key command is activated,
the shutter gate inverts operation direction and opens
completely.
Closing finishes when the time programmed by way
of T.M. finishes
Standby: standby is carried out differently in
accordance with the configuration of JP1:
• JP1=ENABLE (automatic mode): the shutter gate
remains open during the programmed time. If A.T. is
pressed briefly during standby, the shutter gate closes.
• JP1=DISABLE (step-by-step mode): the shutter
gate remains open until an A.T. key command is
received.
