medi Wrist support
Intended purpose
medi Wrist support is an orthosis for the wrist. The product
is exclusively to be used for the orthotic fitting of the wrist
and only on intact skin.
Indications
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Immobilisation after distortions
• Irritation of the soft tissues (chronic, post-traumatic,
postoperative)
• Consequences of paralysis (radial paresis)
• Tendinitis, Tendovaginitis
Contraindications
None known
How does the orthosis act?
The volar aluminium splint guarantees the immobilisation
and stabilisation of the wrist.
How often and when should I wear the orthosis?
The medi Wrist support only supports successful therapy if
it is worn consistently.
How do I put on the orthosis?
• Your specialist dealer has moulded the splint. Push this
into the pocket.
• Open the belts and slip your hand into the orthosis. The
aluminium splint is down.
• First close the front belt and then the back belt.
• Then please close the middle belt.
