9.1 Maintenance of five-point safety buckle

Child safety seat five-point safety buckle is very important for the security
of children. Improper use of damage to children, do not use oil or other lubri-
cants on safety buckles. Safety buckle failure is usually due to foreign objects
or stolen goods into the safety buckle inside.
Failure performance of safety buckle are as follows:
1 When you press the red button, the button is popped slowly.
2 The lock tongue of safety buckle can not be inserted into the buckle or
inserted automatically pop up.
3 The security button will not be issued when the "tick" sound.
4 The lock tongue of security buckle is difficult to insert.
5 A great force was needed to open the safety buckle.
Safety buckle cleaning or repair:
Cleaning safety buckle, security buckle may resume function:
1 Refer to Section 7 for the removal of safety buckle (Figure 9.1) (Figure
9.2).
2 Leave the safety in a warm water containing neutral detergent for at
least one hour, rinse and dry thoroughly and then replace it on the safety seat.
