6 .6 Instructions for use with MBT-Series cable ties
• Make sure that the cable tie is firmly closed in order to ensure reliable fastening.
• For large cable bundles or hard, smooth surfaces, use an LFPC profile
support and protection.
• Ensure that the cable ties are not over-tensioned, otherwise the cables could be damaged.
7 Maintenance
The application tool is largely maintenance-free.
8 Repairs
NOTE
The application tool can be damaged when opening the housing, making changes to the components or if
repairs are carried out incorrectly.
f Application tool only to be repaired by authorised personnel.
Repair work must only be carried out by the manufacturer or persons authorised by the
manufacturer. This also includes opening the application tool and changing components or
functions.
9 Taking out of operation
When used for its intended purpose, the application tool will perform continuously without issues.
Should the application tool need to be withdrawn from operation, it must be disposed of correctly
in accordance with the country-specific disposal guidelines.
