NOTE:
• Keep the
     / ENTER button pressed to
disconnect an existing Bluetooth connection.
4. Now enter the password "0000" in your player, depend-
ing on the device manufacturers, model, and software
version.
After successful registration, "Connected" appears and you
will hear the speaker announcing "CONNECTING". For
the further procedure, please refer to the user manual of the
playback unit. If possible, adjust the volume of the external
unit to a comfortable level.
NOTE:
• Depending on the device manufacturer, you need to
perform the registration (PAIRING) again to connect
the devices.
• In case of problems with the registration of a replay
device, deactivate the WiFi- / and mobile data function
in your playback device.
• The Bluetooth compatibility cannot be ensured for devic-
es (e. g. mobile phones) getting released in the future.
• To ensure an optimal connection, make sure that the
battery of your player is completely charged.
• Some of the mobile phone brands have an energy-sav-
ing mode. Deactivate the energy-saving mode as it can
otherwise result in problems during the data transfer
through Bluetooth.
• To be able to transfer audio data, Bluetooth needs to
stay activated in your player. Observe the operation
manual of your player.
• If a mobile phone on which you are playing music
receives a call, the music will be interrupted. Press the
     / ENTER button to receive the call. The
sound will be played back through the radio. Speak
towards the microphone or transfer the call to your mo-
bile phone. When doing this, please refer to the fade-in
on the display of your mobile phone. After you have
terminated the phone call, the playback will resume.
• When the devices get disconnected, the speaker will
announce "SPEAKER DISCONNECTED". "Disconnect-
ed" flashes in the display.
Description of the control buttons
NOTE:
• Not all the functions may be supported depending on
the playback device.
• Depending on the device, you must start the music app
on your playback device beforehand.

You can briefly interrupt and resume playback using this
button. Pressing again continues playback.

• Speakerphone operation
– Press the button to answer or finish an incoming call.
– Press and hold this button to reject an incoming call.

= Starts the current title again from the
beginning.
Press twice
= Jumps to the preceding title.
Press three times = Plays a preceding title, etc.

You can use this button to jump to the next or overnext title
etc.

Alarm Function

General
• You can set two alarm times in the settings menu. Please
refer to the menu overview on page 7.
• Use the  /
buttons to navigate in the menu.
• Use the
     / ENTER button to select a submenu,
or confirm a setting.
• Important! Consider setting the required volume with
the + / – control. The unit switches on with the last set
volume.
The instructions for setting alarm time 1 are given below:
Setting the Alarm Time
1. Keep the MENU / INFO / SNOOZE button pressed to call
the settings menu.
2. Select the submenu "Alarm" in the menu "System".
3. Select the alarm time to be set: "Alarm 1 Setup" or
"Alarm 2 Setup".
4. "ALARM 1 WIZARD" appears on the display and the
hours for the switch-on time flash. Now make the follow-
ing settings one after the other:
• On time: Set the hours and the minutes.
• Duration: Set the time, after which the device will
switch off automatically.
• Source: Select a source by which you want to be
awakened. Select from: BUZZER (beep), DAB, FM.
If DAB or FM has been selected, now select the
desired radio station which should play when the
set alarm time is reached. You choose from "LAST
LISTENED" and the preset stations.
• Select the time at which the alarm time needs to be
activated. Select from: DAILY, ONCE, WEEKENDS,
WEEKDAYS.
Days: If ONCE is selected, now set the date at which
you want to be awakened.
• Alarm: Activate the alarm time by selecting "ALARM
ON".
