IV. Fitting Instructions
Warning: Only use the car seat in the forward facing position.
This seat CANNOT be used against the direction of travel.
Use this child seat ONLY for securing your child in your vehicle.
Please always observe your country regulations;
Adjusting the backrest height (Fig. 3)
To raise the backrest: grip the top of the backrest and pull upwards until
the diagonal car seat belt section is positioned right on the top of the
shoulder.
To lower the backrest: pull the backrest slightly, in an upward direction,
and press the backrest adjustment button, located at its top.
Whilst keeping the button pressed, lower the backrest, until the safety
belt is at the height of the child's shoulders.
Release the button to lock the backrest into position.
HOW TO RECLINE THE CHILD CAR SEAT (Fig. 4)
Turn the child car seat upside down; then turn the spacer to the open
position.
FIXING THE CAR SEAT - FROM 15 TO 25 KG
(Application range from 3 to 6 years of age approximately).
Place the child seat on the appropriate vehicle seat, facing forward, in
the direction of travel, (Fig. 5).
Check that the vehicle's backrests are blocked in vertical position.
Ensure the vehicle seat in the most rearward position.
Push vigorously the child car seat against the backrest of the car seat
and as far back as possible.
Sit the child into the child car seat and fasten the safety belt, ensuring
that both the lap and the diagonal sections of the belt are inserted
through the belt guide opening located on the armrest which is closer
to the buckle of the safety belt which is closer to the buckle of the safety
belt.
Always check that the excess length of the safety belt is retracted by
accompanying the diagonal section of the belt in an upward direction.
