8. Insert starter pin into the starter.
9. Fold breathing bag onto the
functional part.
10. Hold the folded breathing bag
and insert the functional part into
the lower part of the casing so
that the connection for the
breathing hose is pointing up
vertically and the breathing bag
is pointing away from the body.
11. Place the breathing hose on the
functional part.
12. Rotate the functional part in the
lower part of the casing
sideways through 90° so that the
mouthpiece is on top.
13. Place the neck strap on top of
the functional part and insert it
into the lower part of the casing.
The loop must be on top of the
functional part.
14. Place the upper part of the
casing on the lower part. Push
protruding parts under the upper
part of the casing.
15. Hook the short tightening straps
into the opener and close the
opener.
The opener will click when
locked in place.
16. Grasp the lower tightening strap
by the D-ring, pull it upwards and

hook it into the upper tightening

17. Insert training seal.

5 Maintenance
5.1

Replacing the breathing bag

1. Unscrew the clamping ring and remove the breathing bag from the
functional part.
2. If necessary, replace the straps.
3. Ensure that the new breathing bag is dry on the inside and outside.
4. Point the breathing bag so that the button straps are positioned in the
recesses of the KO
5. Place the breathing bag on the functional part and tighten the screws of the
clamping ring.
5.2

Replacing the training heat exchanger

1. Slide the O-ring from the training
heat exchanger onto the
breathing hose.
2. Remove the old training heat
exchanger.

3. Slide the breathing hose onto the new training heat exchanger and slide the
O-ring onto the training heat exchanger.
5.3

Replacing the pictograms

When the pictograms on the tightening straps have become worn,

they can be removed and replaced with new pictograms. Observe the
preferred direction.
