Crankshaft Locking Pins
DT.4360R1, DT.4367 and DT.4652
DT.4562 Crankshaft Locking Pin
DT.4562 is used on the latest range of Renault 1.4 and 1,6 K4J/K4M twin cam engines
NOTE: Ensure that the web of the crankshaft rests against the pin.
DT.4367 Pin is used for N7Q/N7U twin cam engines
DT.4360R1 Pin is used on many Renault petrol engines
NOTE: These Pins locate into a slot in the crankshaft web. Turn the crankshaft forward and
backward to ensure the pin is located correctly in the slot.
For K4J/K4M

Camshaft Setting Plates
N7Q/N7U Twin Camshaft engines
DT.4366 Camshaft Setting Plate - N7Q/N7U
The Renault N7Q/N7U Twin Cam engines require both DT.4366 Camshaft Setting Plate and DT.4367
Crankshaft TDC Pin for timing belt replacement applications.
NOTE: The auxiliary belt must be removed and will require DT.4368 Adjuster to turn and 'lock' the tensioner.
To fit DT.4366 Camshaft Setting Plate, turn the engine until the grooves in the camshafts align as shown in picture 1.
Bolt on the two alignment arms of DT.4366 Setting Tool and then turn the crankshaft
until the arms meet – as picture 2
Fit datum plate and bolt – picture 3
K4J/K4M and F4P/F4R Twin Camshaft engines
DT.4561 Camshaft Setting Plate – K4J/K4M and F4P/F4R
With the crankshaft 'locked' in position, check that the slots in the ends of the camshafts
are aligned horizontally
NOTE: Camshaft slots must align horizontally below the surface line of the cylinder head.
Fit DT.4561 into the slots to retain camshaft position. Secure the DT.4561 Plate to engine
with bolt through vertical bracket.
