5. MAINTENANCE
5.1 WASHING THE FILTER
From time to time or when the pressure indicated in the filter pressure gauge is over 1 b ar, the filter
must be washed, by following the steps indicated below:
1. Place the general differential switch in the OFF position.
2. Place the selector valve in the WASHING position. If there is a valve between the equipment and
the drain, it should be open.
3. Place the general differential switch in the ON position and place the programmer timer trigger in
the PERM position to start-up the filtering pump for 2 minutes.
4. To stop the pump, place the general switch in the OFF position.
5. Place the selector valve in the RINSING position and start-up the filtering pump for one minute. To
stop the pump, place the general switch in the OFF position.
6. Return the selector valve to the FILTERING position.
7. If you with to leave the filtering pump in the automatic position, leave the timer trigger in the AUTO
position without forcing it.
8. Place the general differential switch in the ON position.
5.2. CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER OF THE PUMP
It is advisable to periodically check the condition of the pre-filter of the pump to ensure that there is no
blockage. If you observe accumulated dirt, it should be opened and cleaned.
To clean the pre-filter:
1. Place the pump switch in the OFF position.
2. Using the spanner supplied with the equipment, turn the upper cover of the pre-filter anti-clockwise
until it is released, remove the cover and the pre-filter basket to clean it.
3. Place the basket back in its position. Place the cover joint properly and close it using the spanner.

5.3. MAINTENANCE DURING PERIODS OF NON-USE OR ABSENCE
•
Set the temperature at its lowest level.
•
Adjust the pH and treat the water (see the Water Maintenance section in the Spa Manual).
•
On your return, set the temperature at the required point, readjust the pH and treat the water.
If the Spa is not used for prolonged periods of time or during winter, the following operations should be
performed:
•
Turn the electrical equipment off by placing the differential switch tab in the OFF position.
•
Drain the Spa.
•
Clean and dry the Spa.
•
Cover the Spa (if a cover is available)
Do not leave the Spa outdoors at temperatures below 0ºC if it filled with water and not
connected, as the pipes may freeze causing damage to the Spa.
