IX. POSSIBLE BREAKDOWNS
The pool water remains unclear :
1. Check the filtration time. Allow 12 hours minimum at the peak of the season, imperatively during the day.
2. Check and adjust (if needed) the water pH between 7 and 7,4.
3. Do a shock chlorination and let the filtration run continuously for 48 hours.
4. The filtering charge can be calcified and prevent the water from being filtered properly. The filtering charge life
expectation is evaluated at about 5 years. It is advisable to change it regularly.
The manometer pressure increases by more than 2 graduations in comparison with the original pressure :
1. Do a back-wash, the filtering charge can be clogged up (we advise you to do it once a week for security
reasons).
2. Check that no stopping valve is closed on the outlet.
3. In case of flocculant products use, this is quite normal. The flocculant increases the sand filtration quality. The
pressure and flow become normal again after a filter back-wash.
No pressure appears on the valve manometer :
1. The filtration pump is not primed and is running without water. Fill its strainer.
2. Check that the multi-port valve is on the "FILTRATION" position. On other positions, the pressure is very
low or even equal to zero.
3. Check that the pump basket is not full. The basket obstruction prevents the water from circulating.
4. Check that all unit hydraulic connections are waterproof. An air entrance on the pump suction may break the
circuit.

the seller's approval.
Legal warranty : provided that the buyer proves that there is a latent defect, the seller must suffer all the conse-
