WARNING : Always remove the battery pack from the product
before making adjustments.
Unlock the locking clip so that the pole can freely extend outwards and inwards.
Extend it to the desired length and lock the locking clip to hold it in place.
NOTE : Using a hex key tool, tighten the locking clip nut if the locking clip cannot be fi xed in place.

before making adjustments.
Place the pole hedge trimmer on a sturdy fl at surface.
Press the pivot button and adjust the trimmer head to the desired angle.
Ensure the trimmer head is locked in position when the button is released.
NOTE : The trimmer head can be adjusted to six positions(-90°to 60°), always ensure that it is locked into
position before using.
Operate the product : illustration 4.1 to 4.3
CAUTION ! Always wear safety glasses. Wear a fi lter mask if
the operation is dusty. Use of proper gloves and substantial
footwear is also recommended.
Hold unit fi rmly with both hands. Always keep your left hand on the telescopic pole and your right hand
on the rear handle. The unit is used for cutting in either direction in a slow, sweeping action from side
to side. Stand so that you are stable and balanced on both feet. Inspect and clear the area of any hidden
objects.
To protect yourself from electrocution, do not operate within 10 m of overhead electrical lines.
Never use the pole hedge trimmer near power lines, fencing, posts, buildings or other immovable objects.
Never use a blade after hitting a hard object without fi rst inspecting it for damage. Do not use if any
damage is found.
To use the pole hedge trimmer for trimming tall or short, hard-to reach hedges or shrubs, hold the
trimmer at the position in safety. Pivot the power head to several diff erent positions to shape or sculpt
shrubs or hedges.
NOTE : Use the machine along a river bank, at least 50 meters.
Check cutting head, open covers if any and check if there is some water inside.
Use the pole hedge trimmer only for cutting normal shrubbery found around houses and buildings.
Do not force the pole hedge trimmer through dense growth. A slight back and forth sawing action may
ease the cutting of larger, more dense growth. If the pole hedge trimmer begins to slow down, reduce the
rate of speed at which you are trying to cut. If the pole hedge trimmer becomes jammed, immediately
turn the trimmer off . Remove the battery pack from the product and clear the jammed debris from the
cutter blades.
