10 Downloading the content of the Data Logger

It is necessary to perform the data download operation when the inverter is
switched off, therefore this operation can be done during the night or by
switching off the AC breaker/fuse on the inverter output, then opening the DC
circuit (by removing the "DC Connectors" defined in Table 1 in the appendix if
the DC switch is not present in the system).
Once the display is completely off, it is possible to access data by opening the
USB cover on the front panel and by connecting a PC USB port via a USB cable
from type A to type B.
If the PC is running Windows ME, 2000, XP, Vista, 7 it is not necessary to install
a driver to access the data logger.
If the PC is running Windows 98, it is necessary to install a driver.
Please visit http://www.ups-technet.com/ to download the driver.
Once the inverter is connected to the PC, the display will show "USB
connection"
The PC accesses the data logger as a USB memory. The "DAILY" folder
contains two files: "DAILY.DAT" and "INVERR.DAT". The first contains a log of
all the measurements: power, energies, voltages, currents, temperatures etc.
The second contains the history of all errors experienced by the inverter.
The extracted files are in binary format, therefore a software tool is needed to
translate them in human readable format. This tool can be downloaded at:
http://www.ups-technet.com/sunvision.htm
by clicking on the link "Datalog export utility for 10K".
