The TurnTable can be used for seated transfers between wheelchair and bed, toilet or chair/armchair. For increased
security, the TurnTable can be be used together with FlexiBelt/EasyBelt. TurnTable is available in three sizes with handles
or without handle for tight spaces.
SystemRoMedic is a series of different models of transfer assistive devices. The choice of assistive devices depends on
the transfer situation and the patient's functional capability and needs.
Functional inspection
Visual inspection
Check the condition and function of the
assistive device regularly. Check to ensure
that fabric is not worn or faded. If there
are signs of wear, the product must be
discarded.
Placement and use TurnTable
Place the TurnTable on the floor beside
the patient. Secure the TurnTable in
place, before raising the patient, by
placing the ball of your foot on the
TurnTable and your heel on the floor.
Steer the TurnTable by pushing with the
front of the foot and braking with the
heel. When the patient is about to sit
down, secure the TurnTable in place as
described above.
Care of the product:
Clean TurnTable with pressurized air or water.
If necessary, disinfect with 70% alcohol. Teflon
spray or a similar product can be used to lubricate
between the plates so that they glide easily against
each other.

Special requirements and conditions
To transfer with TurnTable, the patient must be able to:

support weight while standing
•
stand up and maintain balance (with support)
•
understand instructions
When transferring from bed to
wheelchair, place the wheelchair
close to the bed, so as to minimize
transfer distance.

The product meets the requirements of the Medical Devices
Directive 93/42/EEC.

When transferring to the toilet, place
the wheelchair close to the toilet, so
as to minimize transfer distance. Pull
the patient's pants up/down when
the patient has risen slightly from the
seat. Preferably, two caregivers should
assist.
