For validation purposes please make sure that you follow the load‐
ing instructions given on the template.
To minimise the risk of injury, the mobile unit should be loaded
from the back forwards and unloaded in the reverse order.
All MIS instruments must be dismantled for reprocessing ac‐
cording to the manufacturer's instructions.
Shafted instruments with narrow lumens which cannot be disman‐
tled must be pre-treated in accordance with their manufacturer's
instructions.
Before connecting hollow instruments, please make sure that all
hollow sections are free of blockages. Otherwise the cleaning solu‐
tion will not be able to access all areas properly.
Any hollow items that have become disconnected from their in‐
jector nozzles, adapters or holders during processing must be re-
processed.
Before loading the machine and before starting a pro‐
gramme
– Check that the silicone holders in the injector manifold are all pre‐
sent and undamaged.
– Check that fittings, such as irrigation sleeves, injector nozzles and
funnels are firmly pushed onto the silicone holders.
Missing or water-damaged silicone holders must be replaced
with new ones. Only then may the mobile unit (basket or module)
be used again. If these conditions are present silicone holders
standardise the pressure themselves.
Damaged injector nozzles, adapters or irrigation sleeves etc. must
not be used.
– Check that the basket is correctly connected to the water supply in
the washer-disinfector.
– Check that spray arms are rotating freely.
– Check spray arm jets for blockages.
