Mount the first arm section (the one with the largest diameter)
Mount the second arm section (the one with the smallest diameter)
Position the reflective strips and the caps
The barrier must be in vertical position (see
"Assembly positions" on page 53), as when it left the
factory.
1 Lock the operator to prevent movement.
2 Position the first arm section (1) using the flange (2)
and the M8 screws and nuts (3), as supplied.
3 Secure the arm using the sheet metal screw (4), as
supplied. Make a borehole in the pipe using a ø4mm
drill bit.
The barrier is imbalanced whenever the arm is
dismounted or partially mounted, meaning it is
necessary to proceed with caution and ensure
people do not enter the sphere of operation of
the arm.
1 Unlock the operator and lower the arm (1) manually.
2 Lock the operator and ensure the arm cannot come
up unexpectedly due to the action of the spring.
The spring is calculated to balance the weight
of the two arm sections. When the barrier is in
a horizontal position with a single or no section
installed, releasing the motor would cause the
barrier to move violently, creating a hazard.
3 Introduce section (2) in section (1) as appropriate, in
accordance with the width for passage.
O
4 Secure the two sections using the screws (3)
supplied. Use a drill bit of ø3mm.

5 Check operation manually. Adjust the balance if
necessary.
1 Position the reflective strips (1) on the arm.
The reflective strips increase visibility in the
dark, helping to prevent accidents.
2 Position caps (2) and (3) on the two ends of the arm.
Minimum overlap (S) between sections:
NTS424E: 70cm;
NTS624E: 60cm
