4.2. MODE 1
: (14.4V – 0.8A)
This mode is suitable to charge batteries with a capacity lower than 14 Ah. Before charging the battery,
connect correctly (see connection instructions) the output terminals of the charger to the battery and press the
MODE button to select mode 1. After executing this operation, the corresponding LED
next short interval, if no other operation is carried out, the electronic switch will switch on automatically, the
LED
will light up and the charging process will start with a current of 0.8A +/- 10%.
If everything is ok, the LED

low maintenance current will be supplied to the battery .
4.3. MODE 2
: (14.4V - 3.8A)
This mode is suitable for charging batteries with a capacity higher than 14Ah in normal condition. Before
charging the battery, connect correctly (see connection instructions) the output terminals of the charger to the
battery and press the MODE button to select mode 2. In the next short interval, if no other operation is carried
out, the electronic switch will switch on automatically, the LED
start with a current of 3.8A +/- 10%. If everything is ok, the LED
process till the battery will reach 14.4V +/- 0.25V. When the battery is fully charged the LED
the LED
will go out and only a low maintenance current will be supplied to the battery.
4.4. MODE 3
: (14.7V - 3.8A)
This mode is suitable to charge batteries with a capacity higher than 14Ah in low temperature condition or to
charge some AGM batteries with a capacity higher than 14Ah. Before charging the battery, connect correctly
(see connection instructions) the output terminals of the charger to the battery and press the MODE button to
select mode 3. After executing this operation, the corresponding LED
if no other operation is carried out, the electronic switch will switch on automatically and the charging process
will start. In mode 3 the charging current is the same of mode 2. If everything is ok, the LED
for the whole charging process till the battery will reach 14.7V +/-0.25V. When the battery is fully charged, the
LED
will light up, the LED
5. FUNCTION TO RESCUE DEEP DISCHARGED BATTERIES
When the battery is connected to the charger and a charging mode is selected, the appliance detects
automatically the voltage of the battery and in case values are in a range from 7.5V +/- 0.5V to 10.5V +/- 0.5V
the charger will activate the pulse charging mode.
This pulse charging process goes on till the battery voltage will reach a value of 10.5V +/- 0.5V. Once this
charge level is reached, the charger will start the initial charging mode selected by the user and the battery
shall be charged quickly and safety. Thanks to this pulse charging mode, you may rescue most part of deeply
discharged batteries.
6. PROTECTION AGAINST FAULTS
If one of the following faults occurs: short circuit, battery with a voltage lower than 7V +/- 0.5V, open circuit or
reversed connection of output terminals, the built-in electronic switch will turn off the battery charger and will
restore the system in order to avoid damages. If the appliance does not receive any other input, it will remain
in standby mode. In addition, in case of polarity reversal, the LED
7. TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
If, for any reason, the temperature of the charger increases too much during the charging process, the
appliance will reduce its output power in order to protect itself against possible damages.
