TV set type: Xelos A42 / Modus L42
Free the necessary openings if you have not already done so.
Push the tuner connection through the opening in the TV set.

Plug the module DVB-S Frontend (2) into the pin base of the TV set.
Make sure that the contacts are locked (page 48, fi g. 35).

2. With washer and hexagon nut, page 51, fi g. 41, arrows

To avoid visible damage to the front frame, only fasten the rear wall screws of the Xelos A42 TV set
with a torque equal to or less than 0.5 Nm.
TV sets types: Xelos A26, Xelos A26 Relaunch and Spheros R26
Remove the blanking element with a screwdriver or fl at pliers as shown on page 38, fi g. 14. The
blanking element is no longer required.
Connect the extension cable (4) to the socket on the tuner (as shown on page 39, fi g. 15, arrow F).
Snap the other end of the extension cable (4) from below into the TV set as shown on page 39, fi g.
15, arrow C.
Lay the extension cable between the mounting plate (fi g. 15, arrow D) and the shield box (fi g. 15,
arrow B).
Insert the tuner in the TV set.
Make sure that the contacts are locked (page 48, fi g. 35, arrows).
Fix the extension cable as shown on page 39, fi g. 15, arrow A.
Then refi t the rear, connect the TV set to the external connecting cables and carry out
a function and safety check in accordance with VDE 0701.
