3. INSTALLING THE CHILD SEAT REARWARD FACING
GROUP 0+/1
(ISOFIX+TOP TETHER)

NOTICE

NOTICE: It is advisable to use the seat backward-facing as long as
possible. If the height of the child or the size of the vehicle prevents
the child to travel rearward-facing until 18kg, we advise to maintain
rearward-facing travel position up to 13 kg. If necessary, the seat can
be installed forward-facing when the child reaches 9kg of weight.
NOTICE: This car seat offers different installation options
(installation table, chapter 2) WITH or WITHOUT ISOFIX system.
1. Before installing the child seat, the position of the seat must be
adjust to rearward facing. To do it, pull and keep up the lock system
of the seat base

(fig.3.1). Rotate the seat to rearward facing
(fig.3.2).
2. Pull up the reclining lever
(fig. 3.4).
3. Press the ISOFIX adjuster button
and pull them outward (fig. 3.5). Move each locking arm to check
that it is completely deployed.

4. Take the Top Tether
5. Place the child safety seat in the back seat of the vehicle facing in
the opposite direction of travel.
6. Hold the safety seat with both hands and insert the two locking
arms
a click on both sides. The red button will change to green on both
sides (fig. 3.6).
7. Shake the seat to check that it is correctly anchored to the vehicle's
ISOFIX points.
IMPORTANT! The locking arms are only correctly fixed if both safety
buttons are green.
8. Push the safety seat towards the back using a firm, constant
pressure on both sides until it rests firmly against the vehicle seat
9. Take the Top Tether and press the Top Tether
the strap.
10.Hook the safety clasp to the Top Tether anchor point recommended
in your vehicle instruction manual (fig. 3.7)
IMPORTANT! Make sure not to use the luggage clip instead
of the Top Tether anchor clip. Look for this symbol in your
vehicle.
11. To tighten the Top Tether, take up any slack by pulling the free end of
the belt through the Top Tether adjuster (fig. 3.8). The Top Tether will
be correctly tightened when tension indicator turns from red to green
(fig. 3.9).
Uninstalling the ISOFIX arms
To release the ISOFIX arms, pull the button on the anchors
unlock them until the indicator turns from green to red color. This
will release the child seat (fig. 5.8).
