6. Service
Only allow your electric power tool to be repaired by qualified, trained
personnel and only with original replacement parts. In that way it will
be guaranteed that the safety of the electric power tool is maintained.
SAFETY NOTES FOR THE POWER SCREWDRIVER
• Hold the appliance at the covered grip handle, when you are
carrying out jobs in which the tool bit can encounter concealed
power lines. Contact with a live line can also apply voltage to metalic
appliance parts and lead to an electric shock.
• Hold the electric power tool securely. When tightening up and
slackening the screws a high level of feedback can occur in short bursts.
• Secure the working component. A working component securely held with
a clamping mechanism or a vice is more safely held than with your hand.
• Wait until the electric power tool has come to a standstill, before
putting it away. The tool bit can lock and lead to loss of control over the
electric power tool.
• Before carrying out any work on the power tool (for example
maintenance, tool replacement, etc.) as well as during transport
and storage, place the rotation direction switch in the centre
position. There is risk of injury on accidental activation of the on/off switch.
Shield the electric power tool from heat, also, for example from
continuous sun exposure, fire, water and humidity. There is the
risk of explosion.
• On damage and improper use of the battery, vapours can escape.
Get some fresh air and seek medical advice if symptoms occur. The
vapours can irritate the respiratory passages.
