SET UP—BACKLIGHT FUNCTION
THIS DEVICE FEATURES AN OPTIONAL BACKLIGHT FUNCTION.
1. When the unit is OFF, press the MODE button; the
device will illuminate the backlight and 'bl 01' will
blink on the display, Fig 1.
2. Press the M1 button to toggle the backlight on or off.
bL 00 — Backlight OFF
bL 01 — Backlight ON
3. When the desired setting is displayed, press the
MODE button to proceed to the Alarm Mode
setting.
Alternately, if you do not wish to enter the Alarm
Mode, press the POWER (U1/U2) button to confirm
and shut the monitor OFF.
The backlight will remain on for all functions while
the device is in use; if the device is on but idle for 20
seconds or more, the backlit will dim to conserve energy.
