INSTALLATION
Installing/Replacing the lamp
Before replacing the lamp, unplug mains lead and let the lamp cool down (approx. 5 minutes).
During the installation do not touch the neon-tube bare-handed! Please follow the lamp manufacturer's
notes!
Do not install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with a higher wattage generate temperatures the device
was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.
During the operation, the lamp reaches temperatures of up to 80° C.
Please dispose of the unusable illuminants in accordance with the current legal regulations.
Procedure:
Step 1: Press the buttons together on one end of the fixture and pull this end out a few centimeters.
Step 2: If replacing the neon-tube, remove the old lamp from the socket.
Step 3: Insert the new neon-tube into the lamp-socket and carefully push the end back into place.
Attachment
Before attaching the device, make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10 times
the device's weight.
The device must only be installed absolutely planar at a vibration-free, oscillation-free and fire-resistant
location. Make sure that the device is installed absolutely planar by using a water-level.
The device must be installed out of the reach of people.
The device must always be installed via all fixation holes. Do only use appropriate screws and make sure
that the screws are properly connected with the ground.
The durability of the installation depends very much on the material used at the installation area (building
material) such as wood, concrete, gas concrete, brick etc. This is why the fixing material must be chosen to
suit the wall material. Always ask a specialist for the correct plug/screw combination indicating the maximum
load and the building material.
DANGER TO LIFE!
Only install the lamp with the device switched off!
Unplug from mains before!
CAUTION!
The lamp has to be replaced when it is damaged
or deformed due to the heat!
