Frost-protection circuit
Set the room-thermostat control (2) to
to prevent the room temperature from falling below approx. +5°C, set the
rotary control (1) to position i or ii (depending on the size of room, Position ii
for larger rooms) and the room-temperature control (2) to
switches on automatically at approx. +5°C and off again at approx. +7°C. in
this way frost damages can be avoided.
Protection against over-heating
MaX is fitted with an over-temperature safety device which switches off
the appliance in the case of a technical fault or improper use. Should this
occur, pull the mains cable (6) out of the supply socket and remedy the fault
or correct the method of use. the appliance can be put back into use when
it has cooled down and has been disconnected from the mains supply for a
short time.
Note: make quite sure that there is always sufficient space between
the appliance and the wall or other large objects. The air flow must
not be impeded by objects of any kind.
