This power tool is designed for minor finish
processing of metals, plastics and wood by
means of abrasive wheels and HSS tools.
The straight grinder can be used for grinding,
cleaning burrs and welds. It is designated to
operate with grinding wheels allowing periph-
eral speed 45 m/s. Cylindrical collar Ø43 mm is
shaped on the front of the machine for attaching
a handle or other accessory.
Model features full-wave tachoconstant elec-
tronics for:
-
Soft start and restriction of the starting cur-
rent;
-
Speed pre-selection and control and main-
taining constant rpm upon overloading;
-
Brief overload protection.
-
Continuous overload protection (the ther-
mal protection switches the machine off to pro-
tect the motor from inadmissible overheating).
Upon actuating the thermal protection the ma-
chine becomes disabled. Тo resume operation
release the ON/OFF switch and then press it
again.
-
Non-self starting safety (NVR) after re-
storing the mains supply. To resume operation
release the ON/OFF switch and then press it
again.
PRIOR TO INITIAL OPERATION
▪ Make sure the power supply voltage corre-
sponds to the value indicated on the name
plate with technical data of the tool.
▪ Always check the position of ON/OFF switch.
The power tool must be connected and dis-
connected to the power supply socket only
when this switch is in OFF position.
▪ Make sure that the cord and the plug are in
order. If the replacement of the supply cord is
necessary, this has to be done by the manu-
facturer or his agent in order to avoid a safety
hazard.
WARNING: Always switch off and un-
plug the power tool prior to any adjustment,
servicing or maintenance or in case of mains
drop-out.
SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING Off
Switching on: Push the back end of the ON/OFF
switch 4 down and then forward in the direction
of the arrow until its front end will sag, thus fix-
ing itself.
Switching off: press the back, lifted end of switch
4 and release it to return in its initial position.

EN
WARNING: In case ambient temper-
ature is lower than 0
C the grinder must be
o
switched on only in "G" position of the speed
electronic regulator. After several minutes
operation at no-load the grinder can be used
also in the rest regulator positions.
Do not cover ventilation slots with hand during
operation.
COLLET REPLACEMENT
To replace collet 2, take off nut 1 from spindle
3 and then move out the collet forward. Before
mounting the collet it is necessary to clean the
collet and the spindle aperture.
MOUNTING THE GRINDING WHEEL
Insert the wheel shank into the collet. Hold spin-
dle 3 with one S17 spanner and tighten nut 1 with
the other S17 spanner (the machine is delivered
with two S17 spanners). Use only undamaged
spanners, otherwise there exists a danger of in-
juring the nut. Make sure the wheel shank diam-
eter corresponds to the collet aperture. Tighten
the grinding tools as deep as possible into the
collet. Dimension l
should not exceed a value
0
dependent on grinding tool dimensions (refer to
fig.1 and table 1).
