the long term, we recommend
that you always connect it to
the same USB port. In some
cases, your computer may not
detect the device. If this occurs,
you can typically fix the issue
by re-installing the drivers (from
the CD). If this does not work,
please see the chapter on trou-
bleshooting.
Insert the supplied CD-ROM
into your CD/DVD drive. The
CD menu opens automatically.
If the menu does not open,
select the CD/DVD drive in
Windows Explorer. There, start
the file „Menu.exe" with a
double click.
Please make sure that the
„MikrOcular" is connected to
your PC.
Take the following steps:
1. Save the current data and
close any open programs.
2. Click on „Install Driver".
3. The „WebCAM –InstallShield
Wizard" window now appears.
Click on "Install".
The program files are copied to
your PC. This process can take
a few minutes.
4. If the Window
"Hardwareinstallation", "Windows-
Logo-Test not passed appears,
click on "continue Install".
5. After the window closes,
it can take a few moments
before the „InstallShield Wizard
Complete" window appears.
Click on „Finish".
6. The driver is installed now.
1.2 Installing the Image
Editing Software
Note: If you have already
installed an image editing
program, you do not need to
go through with this Point. In
this way, only the driver for the
„MikrOcular" is installed. If you
are not sure, please continue
with the following steps.
