INSTALLING OPTIONAL BOARDS
CAUTION
• To avoid breakdowns, do not connect or disconnect the optional LB 3340 or SB 3320 boards to/from the RB 3300 back-amplifier
board with its power supply on; first remove the power supply voltages from the RB 3300 board, then connect/disconnect the optional
boards, and subsequently re-supply the back-amplifier board.
INSTALLING THE SB 3320 "FAULT DETECTOR" BOARD
1) The "JP2" jumper on the RB 3300 board (ref. 4 – Fig. 1, page 72) is used to activate operation of the optional SB 3320 FAULT DETEC-
TOR board. This jumper can have one of two different positions, and short circuits two of the three terminals on the board.

2) Using the flat 16-wire cable provided with the SB 3320 FAULT DETECTOR board, connect the board to the "CN1" connector (ref. 3 – Fig.
1, page 72) of the RB 3300 back-amplifier board.
IMPORTANT NOTE
• In order to use the functions of the SB 3320 FAULT DETECTOR board, the "JP2" jumper must be used to short circuit terminals "2"
and "3" together.
INSTALLING THE LB 3340 "DIGITAL ALC" BOARD
1) The "JP1" jumper on the RB 3300 board (ref. 27 – Fig. 1, page 72) is used to activate operation of the optional LB 3340 DIGITAL ALC
board. This jumper can have one of two different positions, and short circuits two of the three terminals on the board.
