8. MAINTENANCE
How to replace the battery:
When the lower left corner of the display shows the low battery symbol
replace the batteries as follows:
1. Disconnect the testing tips from the device and switch it off.
2. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws from the back cover and open the
case. Replace the battery with a new one (006P DC 9V).
3. Put the cover back again and fix it with a screw.
WARNING
To avoid an electrical shock or equipment damage, do not allow water within the
chassis.
Cleaning and storage:
Clean the device regularly with a wet cloth and a soft detergent, use neither
solvents nor abrasive products.
If you are not going to use the device during more than 60 days, take the bat-
tery out and keep them separately
