If configuration of an M80 SM transmitter is
necessary use the METTLER TOLEDO M80 Trans-
mitter Configuration Tool (TCT) software and the
METTLER TOLEDO Transmitter Configuration Box
(see chapter 9 for ordering information). Please
download the TCT software from the documenta-
tion section on www.mt.com/M80.
The M80 SM stores installation point-specific
MODBUS parameters. So there's no need to re-
configure the transmitter when a 1-wire sensor
is replaced.

The M80 SM transmitter cannot be auto-
claved! Disconnect the M80 SM trans-
mitter from the sensor before autoclaving
the sensor!
