Maintenance

9.1 Before each maintenance
task
1. Close the ball valve in the supply line
leading to the Ecomat 3100.
2. Press the test button (hold for 2 sec.) to
empty and vent the Ecomat 3100
(fig. 1a, item 04).
3. Unplug the power plug.
9.2 Replacing the condensate
discharge block
1. Disconnect the condensate drain line
(fig. 6a, item 03) and the condensate in-
let (item 04) from the Ecomat 3100.
2. Press the snap-in hook (fig. 6a, item 02)
and remove the control unit (item 01).
3. Open the housing case (fig. 6a, item 06)
using a screwdriver and remove from the
condensate discharge block.
4. Slacken the screws (fig. 4a, item 02) on
the intermediate adapter (item 03), pull

5. Check whether the new condensate dis-
charge block (fig. 6b, item 01) is com-
patible with the control unit (item 04).
Only condensate discharge blocks from
Schneider Druckluft with the article
number G 430 117 are compatible.
6. Check whether the sensor tube plate
(fig. 6b, item 02) with contact springs
(item 06) is clean, dry and free of foreign
objects.
7. Insert the sensor (fig. 6b, item 03) into
the sensor tube plate.
8. Insert the snap-in
item 05) on the control unit into the sen-
sor tube plate.
9. Push the control unit against the conden-
sate discharge block and lock into posi-
tion.
10. Attach the intermediate adapter, place
the housing case in position and connect
the unit again.

Decommissioning

Observe the safety instructions!
Perform the work steps described in chapter
9.1.
Dispose of the unit and any packaging mate-
rial in accordance with valid regulations.
Remedy
Check voltage value on type plate.
Check power supply (performed only by
trained electricians!).
Have the metal blank checked for dam-
age. Contact Schneider Druckluft Service.
